I?m grabbing a few moments to update my reports from the floor at Interop Las Vegas 2015, this time about a vendor tech session yesterday that featured Michael Dickman, VP for Global Product Line Management, HP Networking. Title: Why you need smart wired infrastructure when upgrading your wireless network to Wave 2. I?d been looking forward to this one and learning more about why the new campus networking calls for, as the session abstract puts it, ?architecting the campus for mobility first, requiring a smart access layer that embeds security, visibility and optimization into the infrastructure.?

 

Hmmm ? mobility first and a smart wired network? I was intrigued.
