How tomorrow moves: the new imperative for the enterprise network infrastructure

By Keerti Melkote, CTO Aruba Networks, an HP company and Dominic Wilde, VP Global Product Line Management, HP Networking

Enterprise IT leaders everywhere are asking for an on-demand IT infrastructure that?s ready to power the mobile-first business apps that define the way we all work and engage with our customers. The expectation from these IT organizations is to create and provision new services rapidly, as business needs dictate, and deliver these services to mobile users without complexity.

Corporate-provided end-user devices connecting to a fixed infrastructure, trying to reach servers that have to be manually provisioned with every new service requirement ? these are clearly things of the past. The New Style of IT demands that this connectivity-based infrastructure transform to be cloud- and mobile-ready so that it can meet the challenges of supporting this new imperative. This is also the fundamental rationale for why teams from HP Networking and Aruba Networks are coming together.
